We offer opportunities for interested individuals to work mentors and coaches, volunteering by share their experience, Strength and Hope with our consumers with the possibility of becoming a facilitators at the center.

We would welcome clothing, blankets, gloves hats, coats, shoes and socks, underwear and toiletries. Our consumers need jobs, training, HOUSING, As one of the items in the center that our consumers utilize for tranquility and serenity, we have a pool table that is worn. We would welcome a pool table or multi-game table. Also, for the purpose of exercise groups we would like to have a stand alone exercise unit.

What services do you provide to the homeless or to those at risk of homelessness?

We provide an environment for learning, and growth in a comfortable supportive setting where attendees can relax, feel respected, accepted and have the opportunity to connect and bond with a network of friends. We use Peer Support in our Journey to recovery. We offer Spirituality exercise, current events, information, referrals, employment and unemployment, guest speakers, money management, networking transportation and much more!

What population do you serve?

The Wellness Self Help Center of Camden City is designed to empower people Living with Mental Illness and or Substance Abuse issues to realize a lifestyle centered on Wellness.

Would prefer someone who is living with and recovering from a mental illness or substance abuse issue for over 2 years minimum.
